Rebecca E Key, PhD

I am a Software Engineer based in Atlanta, GA. I work directly with front-end technologies to build value-added web apps. This site provides an overview of my background, along with examples of my previous work. Feel free to take a look around to see if I can build something that will fit your needs!

About Me

I am a first-generation college graduate that went on to obtain my PhD in Organic Chemistry at Georgia Tech. After 17 years in research (roles ranging from Laboratory Technician to Research Director), I decided to make a career change to become a Software Engineer. When I'm not coding, I enjoy mountain biking, running, weightlifting, and crocheting!

Highlighted Projects

Below are examples of web apps and static websites that I have previously built. Click on the links below to check them out!

LiftLogger.fit is a fitness training aid that provides an interactive form to users such that they can track their weightlifting progress. Users can log the lift, amount of weight lifted, reps, and elapsed time, along with any notes that they want to make regarding their lift(s). Upon completion of the weightlifting session, users can log their set to be saved under their lifting history.

OTA Bags is an online store equipped to provide the outdoors ham radio enthusiast with bags and accessories to keep their rigs protected and organized!
